First - Amber was exceptional!
The property her sold for us was in quite poor conditiion and to be sold as is. Our expectations were low and hoped for enough to get out from under the house. Amber treated us with respect. She went ahead with a market evaluation and came up with a price that was above our expectations. Skeptical at first, Amber worked with us to show the value based on comparable and other work. Again she was great. She got the house listed and under contract in days. Amber was our agent to buy a new home as well as to sell our first home. Let me start by saying we were in the midst of the real estate boom and my husband was not easy to please. We looked at sooooooo many houses! Amber's sweet disposition never changed! She was ready to schedule every home, knowledgeable in pointing out pros & cons of properties, even telling us to "listen" to see if the traffic sounds would be a bother. The house finally closed, then it was time to sell. Again, our Amber came through! When we received a ridiculously low offer she told the would be buyer that his offer was basically a joke! Her level of professionalism is unmatched and her knowledge of the market as well as continuing to fine-tune her craft to know the areas within the Baltimore Metropolitan area was a plus. As a 1st time home buyer, I had put this big investment off for years always finding a reason to not be ready to make such a huge financial obligation; so when I decided to make this move I interviewed several realtors some were referred and some long time friends/family members. But this was serious friend or family I wanted someone who was patient and met me where I was mentally and financially in this process. As you know it can be nerve wrecking even with clients with the best credit but Amber as my realtor and the lender was with me every step of the way never got an attitude stayed consistent. Always willing to assure me that they had it under control and that honestly this was all part of the process that they are used too.
Amber even went the extra mile letting me look at homes after homes with no complaints until I felt it met the renovations I desired and a home that was within my budget. Most important as a client sometimes we get so engrossed in the renovations of the home; we forget about the area and neighborhood for future market.
